This information notice is provided only for this website and not also for other websites that may be visited by the user by means of links.

The information notice also makes reference to Recommendation no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, gathered together in the Group set up by Art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to define the minimum requirements for the online collecting of personal data and, in particular, the ways, times and nature of the information that Data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, whatever the purpose of their connection.

Place of data processing

Data processing connected to the web services of this website takes place at the company’s registered office and is done only by the technical staff in the Department in charge of processing, or by persons potentially tasked with occasional maintenance operations. No data resulting from the web service is communicated or divulged. Personal data provided by users who send requests to receive information material (newsletters, CD-ROMs, catalogues, price lists, answers to questions, various deeds, etc.) are used solely for the purpose of providing the service requested.

When operating routinely, the IT systems and software procedures for this website’s functioning acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

These items of information are not collected to be associated to the identified persons concerned, but by for their nature they might, through processing activities and by association with data held by third parties, lead to user identification.

IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users connecting to the website fall under this category, as well as URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the answer file, the numeric code showing the status of the answer given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and the IT environment of the user.

These data are used purely for obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check that it is operating correctly, and are immediately cancelled after being processed. Data may be used to ascertain responsibilities in case of any IT crimes against the website: except for this situation, data about web contacts are currently held for no more than seven days.
